Hi, Iā€™m RC.

Continuing the legacy of grandmothers before me, I am a balabusta: creating home in body, mind, spirit, and community. I serve as a doula, care worker, artist, community organizer, sex & pleasure educator, and social worker.

I hold space as a witness, companion, and accomplice through the transition and growth with radical presence, attunement, and care. Interdependence, loving accountability, and liberatory embodiment are my guideposts.

My past and current labors of love include working as a full-spectrum doula, therapist, bookseller, swim teacher, leatherworker, sewist + knitter, and cheesemonger. I dream of a future where none of this labor is work and the tending of joy, grief, play, and change is centered as sustainable survival within our ecosystems. As a gatherer of experiences and skills, I am grateful to be a perpetual student of my peers, elders, and the earth.

I accompany others in creating and ritualizing patterns, meaning, and impermanence, weaving together the past and future for embodied presence. I study and use parts work, emergent strategies, somatics, tarot, attachment, plant medicine, mindfulness, the stars, and dreams for an interconnecting practice for myself and with others.

I hold deep gratitude for the gift of joining others in the depths of transformation. Through this work, I honor the blood and kin ancestors of my past and descendants of my future.
